Steve, a native of Roscoe, was an owner of Macktown Insurance when it merged with Ferguson Financial Group in 2003. Although he has been involved in the insurance business for over 18 years, his Associates degree in Building Construction and 10 years of experience in that field explains his interest and success in working with contractors in a variety of trades. It can perhaps also be said that his 22 years as a volunteer fire fighter with the Harlem-Roscoe Fire Department has given him a deep appreciation for the value of insurance. Steve is a past president of the Rockton Chamber of Commerce, where he has served for over 12 years. He has been chairman of the Lighted Holiday Parade since its inception and a member of the Rockton Lions for 12 years.

Steve enjoys working in the town where he went to school. He likes work that allows him to meet new people as well as ensure the financial health of the community he has known all his life. He is married with one daughter and enjoys golfing, watching NASCAR racing and, most of all, spending time with family and friends.
