Rob Lyvers grew up in Lena, Illinois before graduating from Lena-Winslow High School in 2005. He attended Highland Community College in Freeport, Illinois and received his Associates of Science degree. He graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2009 with a bachelors of Science degree in Economics. He and his wife Alison live in Freeport.
